Dual Diagnosis for Direct Support Professionals
The term "dual diagnosis" refers to a situation in which an individual has both a developmental disability and a mental health condition. In this course you will develop the skills necessary to complete biopsychosocial assessments and create care coordination decision trees for simulated individuals with dual diagnosis.
By the end of this course, you will be well-versed in considering appropriate communication techniques, therapies, and interventions within a community setting, as well as reflecting on the impact of stigma and the importance of self-care.
